Q. What is included to the payment?
Base Rent (Rent/day times the number of stays)
Reservation Fee ($52.36)
Cleaning Fee (Fees differ depends on room type)
General state tax (4.712%)
Hotel tax (10.25%)
Q. How much is the deposit fee?
A. The deposit fee is 50% of base fee and reservation fee of $52.36.
The remaining balance will be automatically charged to your credit card about 30 days before your check-in date.
The credit card you used for making the reservation will be charged for automatic payment. If you want to use a different card for paying the remaining balance, please let us know before the automatic payment which is about 30 days before check-in.
Q. How prior can we make a reservation?
A. You can make reservation maximum one year prior.
Q. Can we make a reservation for tomorrow?
A. You cannot make reservation for within 5 days by online.
Please e-mail or call us if you want to make reservation for within 5 days.
Q. What are the minimum nights of stay to make reservation?
A. Minimum 3 nights is required to make reservation.
Some condominiums require more than 30 nights to make reservation. (Example, Island Colony, Colony Surf etc…)
Q. Can we make an early check-in?
A. If the room is ready before your check-in date, you may be able to check-in early without any fee.
Please give us a call when you reach to the airport and ask if you can check-in early.
Q. Extra fee for checking-in on holidays
A. An extra $52.36 will be charge for check-ins on holidays.
Holidays includes New Year’s, Martin Luther King Jr day, President Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor day, Veterans Day, Thanks Giving Day, Christmas etc..
Q. What time is check-out?
A. Check-out will be 10am. Cleaning service will enter the unit after 10am.
You can request a late check-out if you pay half of the daily stay. Please let us know before head if you like to request for it.
Q. What credit card company do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, Master card, Discover and JCB.
Please do not use American Express and Diners card.
Q. How to Check-in
A. There are two ways to check-in.
One way is our staff will assist you from the condominium entrance to your room and will pass the room key to you.
The other way is we set a lock box or a key pad at the condominium and have you self-check-in
Q. How to check-out?
A. Please throw away all garbage, empty inside the refrigerator, and turn off all lights and A/C. Leave all keys (including parking pass and laundry card) in the room. Set the door lock to auto lock if necessary and exit the unit.
Q. What kind of room amenities are in the room?
A. Myland Hawaii Realty provides a one-time welcome kit to each room when the customer arrives. The welcome kit includes dishwashing liquid, paper tower, hand soap, box tissue, and 2 toilet papers. (These items may change or be removed due to availability)
Anything other than these items the customer needs to provide by themselves.
Q. Where should we call if there is a problem in the room?
A. Please call to Myland Hawaii Realty during our office hour. Our phone number is 808-922-2992.
Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our office is closed on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Q. Is safety box provided in the unit?
A. Most of the units do not provide a safety box. Please watch your own valuables.
We will not be responsible for any lost or missing items during your stay.
Q. If something is damaged during our stay what should we do?
A. Please report to Myland Hawaii Realty by e-mail or telephone.
Q. What kind of linen is provided in the room?
A. Bath towels, hand towels, bed sheets, etc… are provided in the room. You are required to wash and dry these linens during your stay. You may use and leave one set of bath towels before check-out.
Q. Is there housekeeping during our stay.
A. There are no free housekeeping services during your stay. You may use the cleaning tools and products provided in the room to clean the room by yourself or you may order housekeeping during your stay for an extra charge. Please let us know if you would like to order housekeeping.
Q. What kind of cooking devices are provided
A. Most of our units provide a microwave, toaster, rice cooker, pots and pans for cooking.
Dishes, cups, silverware are also provided in the room.
Q. Can we use the telephone in the room?
A. Yes, you may use the telephone in the room. However, you can only make free calls to other phones within the Island of Oahu. If you need to use the phone to make calls outside Oahu, please purchase the prepaid telephone card found in many stores including ABC store.
Q. Is Internet provided in the room?
A. Yes, there is free Internet Wi-Fi for all rooms. Many rooms use modem for Internet. Most modem has LAN cable port. If you need your laptop connected with LAN cable, please bring your own LAN cable and connect it to the modem.
Some devices from other countries may not be capable for using the Wi-Fi provided
Q. Is smoking permitted in the room or lanai?
A. Smoking is not allowed in all rooms and also the lanai. Many buildings banned smoking in common area including the e-cigarettes. Please note that extra cleaning fee will be charge for removing the odor in the room.
Q. Can we use the parking lot in the building?
A. Some units include free parking. Others may have no parking or paid parking. You can check the room introduction in our website to see if the unit has its own parking lot.
Q. How long does it take from Honolulu International Airport to Waikiki?
A. It is approximately 8 miles between the two locations. Depending on the traffic condition, it should take about 20-30 minutes by taxi or 40-60 minutes by shuttle bus.
Q. Can we make payment other than credit card?
You can make payment by making deposit to our bank account or by checks. You will be responsible for paying fees for transferring or mailing checks.
We will ask you for credit card information as for additional fund settlement.
If credit card info is not provided, a security deposit of $300 is required.
We will return your security deposit after check-out. $50 service fee will be deducted from the security deposit when returned to you.
Addition to this, if you are transferring from foreign bank you will need $13 inward payments remittance
Q. I would like to know the Cancellation policy.
$300+tax will be charged if cancelled more than 91-days prior to check-in date.
Half of the room fee+tax will be charged if cancelled between 90 to 31 days before check-in date.
Full amount of reservation will be charged if cancelled 30 or less days before check-in date.
For all cases, the service fee ($52.36) is non-refundable.
